A group of British pensioners decide "outsource", leaving the least expensive and exotic India. Attracted by advertisements for Marigold newly renovated and expanded with visions of a life of leisure arriving, to find the palace to be a shell of himself. Although the new environment is less luxurious than expected, are always by their shared experiences, to transform the discovery that life can begin again and love when you let go of the past.
